Last Friday was HCS Community Day, a day in which our school celebrated our wonderful town of Hampstead. Our second graders put on a parade and two concerts. The parade featured our second graders marching with community banners along with members of our school board, community leaders, and the Hampstead Fire and Police Departments. It was a fun event for all! After the parade, parents were treated to a concert featuring singing, dancing, student art and student digital work. Later in the afternoon the entire HCS school community had the opportunity to attend the Gr. 2 Community Concert. Our second graders did a fantastic job! A big thank you goes out to our HCS Second Grade Team, the UA Team, our community leaders, school board members, the Hampstead Fire Department, and the Hampstead Police Department for making our Community Day such a special event! #hcshuskies

The HCS book vending machine is open. When staff catch kids doing positive things such as showing kindness, being respectful, or persevering when things are challenging, kids can earn tokens for books. #hcshuskies
